Large Vehicle Drive-In Climatic Tunnels For Testing Refrigerated Trucks

Weiss Technik’s large vehicle drive in climatic tunnels are drive in chambers for testing refrigerated trucks. Climatic tunnels are extremely useful for testing vehicles and parts that move between extreme temperatures within a 12- to 24-hour period. For instance in the change between a refrigerated truck being in operation during the day time but sat garaged overnight causing the refrigerant to move in and out of the compressor or turn from a gas to a liquid when it goes from hot days to cool nights.

All aspects of a refrigerated truck and its component parts can be tested in a drive in chamber to verify that refrigeration equipment - trucks, refrigerated displays, heat pumps, etc. – operates correctly under all climatic conditions.

Weiss Technik has built three climatic tunnels, in which temperature and humidity are precisely controlled, with a total capacity within the tunnels of more than 1200m3. The example shown here is for trucks, see also our Drive In Climate Test Chamber With Dynamometer and the Drive In Rain Chamber / Leak Testing System for Vehicles.

The innovative WEBSeason® user interface allows you to program, control and monitor your tests within the chamber for ease of use.
