Weiss Technik introduces SIMPATI Next Generation, a new software solution for environmental simulation. The new version supports lab managers, test engineers, and quality managers in the secure, reproducible, and collaborative execution of testing processes. The Linux-based application will be available starting July and complies with current security and compliance standards.

The new SIMPATI consolidates core environmental simulation tasks into a single, seamless platform. Programming, monitoring, controlling, and evaluating tests can be executed efficiently and without data loss using this comprehensive solution.
Measurement and process data are available immediately after acquisition and can be processed directly. Database-driven storage is managed using a flexible tagging system. The new data management system significantly reduces the workload for documentation, analysis, and traceability.
A newly developed editor enables the creation and adjustment of test runs in both graphical and tabular formats. These can be reused, compared, and transferred to different systems. This reduces manual workload and improves the consistency of test processes.
Boosting productivity through collaborative work
With the new SIMPATI version, parallel work in the lab is made possible end-to-end. The browser-based architecture allows multiple users to simultaneously access systems, programs, and data, regardless of their location. This allows programming, analysis, and system monitoring to be carried out in parallel. Collaboration between the lab, development, and quality assurance is simplified, and coordination efforts are reduced.
Future-proof and compliant
The software is aligned with the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act, which will become legally binding in the EU as of 2027. As a result, companies subject to NIS 2 obligations are spared the time-consuming security vetting of purchased IT products and software components.
Regular updates ensure continuous IT security and steadily expand the platform's functionality, with the future integration of AI assistant systems also on the horizon.
