Additional Access Ports
Access port made of stainless steel, vailable in three standard sizes Ø 50, 80, 125 mm, including 1 silicone plug closed and 1 foam + silicone plug, slotted.
On a footprint of around 1.4m², the compact LabEvent temperature test chamber takes care of temperature testing for batteries and electronic components. This 2m-tall LabEvent has a test chamber volume of 580 liters. Installation is flexible and simple, since the device is operated via a conventional 230V electrical outlet.
Our component test chambers do not require compressed air for dehumidification, and thanks to the large tank, even long climate test cycles can be carried out without a permanent water connection.
For the most demanding climate cycling tests.
A reduced version with lower investment costs is available for low requirements (e.g. a constant temperature of 25 °C).
The chamber can be controlled via a wide variety of interfaces. Our own SimServ interface and OPC-UA are available, as well as various bus systems such as Profi Bus, Profi NET or EtherCAT. In this respect, it is in no way inferior to its larger counterpart, the TempEvent reach-in temperature test chamber.
Dual software protection plus additional hardware-based test specimen protection with an independent temperature sensor.
The chamber is specially optimized for smaller test specimens and limited space. 500 liters of test space with a minimal footprint of < 1.5 m².

Operation/programming and monitoring unit with 18 cm (7"). With this, all settings can be made and test programs can be conveniently programmed.

Illuminated test chamber made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel 1.4301. Thanks to special welding and smooth surfaces, the test chamber is easy to clean.

Door adapted for one-hand operation, lockable, hinged on the left side.
The size, position, and design of our access ports are as individual as your test object and your tests. Talk to us. We have the right solution for every requirement.

In the basic equipment, a USB port for data recording (csv) and an Ethernet port are available. The cabinet can be controlled via the network connection with our software S!MPATI® or the data can be recorded. Additionally, the cabinet can also be controlled by external programs via our own protocol SimServ.

Independently adjustable temperature limiter tmin/tmax, separate sensor installed in the test chamber. Dehumidifier to prevent condensation formation on the sample. Software temperature limiter tmin/tmax, individually adjustable fixed value. Potential-free contact specifically for heat-emitting test specimen, connected to socket max. load 24V 0,5A.
Adjustable, vibration-absorbing feet
| The compact LabEvent-model temperature test chamber implements standardized temperature tests for stress tests in battery applications. This includes the requirements in accordance with UN 38.3 which ensure that lithium-ion batteries and cells do not pose a hazard when transported. For this purpose, the batteries undergo numerous test cycles. The chamber also complies with the ESA 100 standard, suitable for battery engineers and manufacturers for the validation of market readiness, as well as the DIN EN 60068-2-14 specification, which involves testing rapid changes in ambient temperature – a standard task for the system. The test chamber can also be integrated into existing test bench systems via an interface. The LabEvent 500 can accommodate up to 180 battery cells, but at the same time has the smallest footprint of all comparable devices. Inserts in standard euro dimensions in a special rack allow 1,000 loading/unloading circuits simultaneously. These testing chambers are to be used at a renowned laboratory to build an automated test bench for cell characterization. The goal is the so-called “electronic cell passport”, which will allow device manufacturers to compare the aging profiles of different cells from different manufacturers.

The LabEvent 500 chambers can be optionally equipped with Hazard Levels 0 to 6. They are available as lithium-ion test chambers up to HL 6.
The versions with CO2 down to -30°C and F-gas down to -60°C are available as climate versions. Constant climate tests as well as selected climate change tests such as IEC 60068-2-30 are possible. For this purpose, the chamber is fitted with a steam humidifier and a dehumidification cooling system or a compressed air dryer (depending on the customer’s requirements and infrastructure).
