Laboratory Climate Test Chamber

The test chambers in the LabEvent range are available with test chamber volumes from 34 to 210 liters. The solution for humidity tests with limited space. With a wide temperature range, they are ideal for reproducible tests on small test samples in the fields of research, development and quality control. LabEvent cabinets comply with common test standards such as DIN, ISO, MIL, IEC, DEF, ASTM.

Compact Design

Minimal external footprint for your testing requirements, in some cases less than 1 m². In addition, the cabinets can be stacked on top of each other using a specially designed device.

Our single-stage systems (down to -40°C) are equipped with CO2 refrigeration technology (GWP = 1). Even at -40°C, the system still offers sufficient power to operate your test material.

Quiet operating noise

The very low noise level makes it possible to work in close proximity to the cabinet. An additional option allows to reduce the sound pressure level even more.

Wide climatic range with 10 – 95 % RH

Humidification can be controlled in a wide climatic range from 10% to 95%. An optional air dryer and a capacitive humidity measurement system are available for dry environments. In addition, the LabEvent has an automatic water supply with water tank and warning in case of water shortage.

Triple test material fuse included as standard.
Active test items can be de-energized via a potential-free contact.
Test chamber can switch off in the event of a fault in the test material or be set to a defined value (optional).

Stress Screening possible

The LabEvent is also available for Environmental stress screening tests, up to 5 or 10K/min temperature change rate.

USB and Ethernet

In the basic equipment, a USB port for data recording (csv) and an Ethernet port are available. The cabinet can be controlled via the network connection with our software S!MPATI® or the data can be recorded. Additionally, the cabinet can also be controlled by external programs via our own protocol SimServ.

Operation/programming and monitoring unit with 18 cm (7"). With this, all settings can be made and test programs can be conveniently programmed.

High-Quality Test Chamber made of Stainless Steel

Illuminated test chamber made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel 1.4301. Thanks to special welding and smooth surfaces, the test chamber is easy to clean.

Psychrometric measuring

The humidity of the test space air is measured according to the internationally valid psychrometric measuring principle. The life time of the psychrometer wick is considerably increased due to a self-cleaning mechanism.

Automatic Water Supply

A water reservoir with a capacity of approximately 13 liters ensures automatic water supply. In addition, the cabinet issues a warning message in case of water shortage. Water feeding of demineralised water for long-term tests and to avoid manual refilling.

Mobile - and Flexible

Two block and steering rollers provide sufficient mobility in the mobile version.

The LabEvent now also with climate-friendly refrigerant CO2 (R744).

How do the individual LabEvent variants differ?

Bench-top of mobile version?

The 34, 64, 100 and 150 liters variants are designed as bench top units as standard, but can also be configured optionally as mobile units for easy transport. As bench-top sized, 2 devices can be placed on top of each other with our optional stacking frame. The 110 and 210 liters variants of the LabEvent are developed as mobile versions in their standard configuration.

Addressing a large variety of needs.

The LabEvent portfolio offers a broad range of configurations to address a large variety of customer needs. For example, the machinery of most 34, 64, 100 and 150 liters variants is placed on top of the chamber. This allows to include an access port in the floor. On the contrary, the machinery of the 110 and 210 liters variants is placed on bottom part of the chamber. This allows to include an access port in the ceiling. For stress screening tests, the 100 and 150 liters variants are available in a -70°C - 10K/min version and the 110 and 210 liters variants are available in a -70°C - 5K/min version.

LabEvent LC - Climate testing with two types of dehumidification.

LabEvent climate test chambers enable precise and standardized testing under constant climatic conditions. Fully compliant with IEC 60068-2-30 Test Db, variant 2, they are ideal for simulating climatic stresses during product development and quality assurance. With a humidity range of up to 98% relative humidity and the smallest possible footprint, these chambers deliver top performance in limited spaces. For applications with special requirements, users can choose between two effective dehumidification options: either dry air supply or high-performance dehumidification coolers. This ensures safe, reproducible test conditions—perfect for research, development, and industrial quality testing.

The laboratory test chambers are used for climate & temperature tests in the electronics industry (mastering specific requirements with ease; e.g. low-silicone test chamber), in the automotive sector (demanding climate tests such as those of the LV124 or general standards such as the IEC 60068 series), for 5G and autonomous driving (special adaptations enable tests in the EMC range), aerospace and defence (for extreme requirements, such as MIL-STD-810) but also for consumer goods (such as tests with leather, which introduces highly corrosive outgassing into the test chamber).

LabEvent - Special applications.

Lithium-ion:
Rechargeable batteries are installed in many devices these days, and e-mobility is also leading to an increased number of tests with batteries. To ensure that you can test these test items safely, our test chambers are equipped with a tested safety system based on the EUCAR Hazard Level System, which extends up to Hazard Level 4.
 
EMC: 
The test chambers must be specially shielded to ensure that no signals are emitted from the test object into the environment or affect your test object. We have many years of experience in the construction of test chambers for EMC tests.
