Extra-wide climate test chambers

The XXL ClimeEvent W climate test chambers set the bar when it comes to space, performance and precision. Developed for large-format test specimens, they combine maximum test space width with dynamic climate and temperature control. A powerful solution for all those who don’t want to compromise in climate testing.

This makes the ClimeEvent XXL-W unique.

Maximum test chamber width

Extra-wide design for the safe and efficient testing of large-format, bulky or side-by-side test items. The perfect solution for XXL components and assemblies.

High performance even with large volumes

Advanced climate and temperature control technology ensures precise and reproducible test results, even when the test chamber is fully utilised.

Also with new climate-friendly refrigerant R744

Our single-stage systems (down to -40°C) are equipped with CO2 refrigeration technology (GWP = 1). Even at -40°C, the system still offers sufficient power to operate your test material.

Reliable precision across the entire working range

Uniform air distribution and precise control ensure stable test conditions, even with dynamic temperature and climate profiles.

Robust industrial quality for continuous operation

High-quality materials, durable components and a well-engineered design ensure maximum uptime and low operating costs.

Future-proof solution with expert service support

Designed for the demanding testing tasks of today and tomorrow. Backed by comprehensive service, calibration and long-term availability of spare parts.

Foldable web panel 25.4 cm (10“)

The 25.4 cm (10“) display is foldable. All settings can be made via the touch panel, and test programs can be conveniently programmed.

Test room

The test chamber of the ClimeEvent XXL W is designed for large-scale and demanding test specimens. To ensure durability and maximum process reliability, the test chamber is made of stainless steel and is fully welded.

Hardware test object protection

In addition to the software-side test object protection, the hardware test object protection is also included in the basic equipment. With its own Pt100 sensor and its own hardware, it is system-independent and can effectively protect the test object from incorrect temperatures in the event of a fault.

Digital inputs and outputs

With this, the test object can be controlled via appropriate circuits. For example, it can be switched on and off via the digital channel using a relay. Optionally, a specific behavior of the test chamber can be programmed via the inputs. For example, in the event of solidification of the test object, the test chamber can be regulated to room temperature to prevent aging of the test object.

Test room floor

The robust test chamber floor of the XXL cabinet is designed to withstand the heaviest loads. With a load-bearing capacity of up to 700 kg, it offers maximum safety and flexibility, even for heavy and bulky test specimens.

Airflow

In combination with a uniform airflow, the test chamber ensures consistent temperature and environmental conditions across the entire floor area.

Test room door

To make the best possible use of the extra-wide test chamber, it is fitted with a double-leaf door.

Feed-throughs on the left and right

Feed-throughs allow customer-supplied cables and test equipment to be routed into the test chamber. The standard version of the test cabinet is fitted with two feed-throughs (right: Ø 125 mm; left: Ø 50 mm).
