In order to focus on his duties as CEO of the Schunk Group, Peter R. Manolopoulos will step down from the management of Weiss Klimatechnik (WKT) and management of the Business Unit Air Solutions, effective October 31, 2023. Manolopoulos will additionally continue in his current role as COO of the Division Machinery & Equipment until the succession is in place.
As of November 1, 2023 Dirk van Manen will take over Manolopoulos' responsibilities and lead WKT and BU Air Solutions. For a limited period of time, van Manen will be the sole Managing Director, as a second Managing Director will be appointed at a certain point in time.
