Hiking day in South Korea: After a long interruption due to the corona pandemic, employees of Schunk Carbon Technology South Korea finally had the opportunity to meet again outside of work at the Daebudo Haesol-gil trekking event.
Daebudo, an island in the West Sea located 26 km away from the Schunk site, served as the perfect backdrop for this much-anticipated gathering. Known for its stunning natural beauty, Daebudo is a popular tourist destination that attracts numerous visitors each year.
The surrounding scenery includes the beautiful West Sea, the Ant Waist Arch Bridge, the Sunset Observation Deck as well as a coastal trail. Some family members also participated and were able to share the Schunk atmosphere.
“After a long time, we were able to meet face-to-face with colleagues outside of the company and have a pleasant time of harmony as one Schunk family”, said Jung-Sic Lim, Head of HR and IT at SCT-KR. “Additionally, the beautiful natural scenery will become a new source of energy for our tired bodies and minds to work hard.”
