For our founder, Ludwig Schunk, it was obvious: if you want to advance professionally and socially, you need more than commitment and excellent technical skills, you also require knowledge of other languages and cultures. For this reason, we would like to encourage the children of our employees to expand their intercultural competence. In the spirit of Ludwig Schunk, we therefore encourage young students to take a semester abroad.
Specifically, this means that the Ludwig Schunk Foundation will financially support qualified young students during academic semesters abroad with a Scholarship of Euro 500 per month.
These are the details of the Ludwig Schunk scholarship:
- monthly allowance in the amount of EUR 500
- for biological / adopted children up to 25 years
- for students of all disciplines at recognized foreign universities
- enrollment at college / university in the country of residence, possible from the 2nd semester onwards
- academic performance in upper level
- No further scholarships other than BAFÖG or ERASMUS up to 800 EUR in total
- funding period of 4-6 months
