Testing Lithium-Ion Batteries

The rise of electromobility has brought the topic to the attention of many people and into many test laboratories. However, testing lithium-ion batteries involves certain risks. This short course covers the fundamentals of testing lithium-ion batteries. We clarify terms such as thermal runaway and address risk assessment for tests of this kind. After a brief look at the world of ATEX, we turn to hazard levels and the required laboratory and safety equipment. Please refer to the program for details.
