User Training: Temperature and Climate Testing
Modern products are becoming smaller and more complex all the time, while requirements are increasing and development times keep shrinking.
The reliability of these new products can be tested using environmental simulation. However, this requires a thorough understanding of the underlying physics.
This training examines the complex interplay between the test chamber, the test specimen, and the standard.
The training was developed for onboarding new employees and for colleagues who want to refresh their knowledge. It goes without saying that everyone is welcome.
In small groups, participants take a hands-on approach to the following topics, using a sample standard created specifically for the course (based on an IEC standard):

- Fundamentals of environmental simulation and the underlying physics
- Behavior of the test chamber with test specimen and influence of the test specimen on the test
- Influence of airflow and control on the test
- Introduction to the climate chamber
- Operation and program creation
- Loading of test specimens
- Discussion of the test results
- Keeping climate chambers ready for operation
- Hands-on practical exercise
All topics are demonstrated on a "ClimeEvent" climate chamber.
