In an interview, Christian Haack, Head of Development at Weiss Technik, provides insights into our company's culture of innovation and technological expertise. He explains how continuous research and development, as well as close communication with our customers worldwide, lead to pioneering solutions in environmental simulation.
Haack particularly emphasises the development of environmentally friendly refrigerants, which has been ongoing since 2016: "For us, sustainability is not a trend, but a responsibility we live by. In 2018, we launched our own refrigerants for ultra-low temperature applications, which are 90 percent less harmful to the environment than conventional solutions. Since 2024, we have gone one step further and offer all our devices and systems with powerful CO2 cooling developed in-house. We are thus setting new standards in terms of environmental compatibility and performance."
Hidden champions such as Weiss Technik are the backbone of the German economy. They combine tradition with innovation and are often world market leaders in their specialist fields, according to the portal deutschland.de.
