ShakeEvent Environmental Test Chamber for Vibration Testing

In real-life operation, many components, and especially those in the automotive and aerospace sectors, are exposed to intense vibrational forces, often with extremely rapid temperature changes in very different climates.

The Weiss Technik Environmental Test Chambers for Vibration Testing allow for the precise simulation of dynamic processes and offer fully climatic test chambers that test for temperature and humidity conditions, in combination with electro-dynamic vibration systems. This allows you to investigate environmental stress factors in advance to ensure safe driving or flying operations.

In particular, components from the automotive and aerospace industries are subject to intense vibrational forces during operation, whereby these can experience rapid temperature changes in different climates. Mechanical and thermal loads are combined for the vibration tests in our ShakeEvent vibration chambers and are powerful enough to test complete battery packs and battery management systems (BMS).

Reliable measurements are ensured by:

  • Disruption-free operation even under extreme installation conditions with ambient temperatures of up to +35°C 
  • Integration of the test programs for the vibration and temperature/climate profiles via digital switching inputs and outputs
  • On-site adjustment possible at the final shaker height
  • Possible to make subsequent adjustments in accordance with other vibration systems thanks to the lack of interfering feet or supports near the vibrator
