The design of the test chamber is put under high demand during a test due to the combination of controlled humidity, sub-zero temperatures, and corrosion. Consequently, several of our corrosion chambers are equipped with a refrigeration circuit.
- Reliable alternating corrosion tests through compliance with DIN 50 021 / DIN EN ISO 9227
- Temperature range: -15°C to +60°C; impact- and scratch-resistant interior surfaces thanks to the GRP test space
- Temperature range expandable to -40 °C to +80 °C
- Heating elements for temperature control of the test space with over-temperature protection
- Ventilation system for supplying fresh air to the test space

Weiss Technik has developed several corrosion test systems for FEV Group GmbH in Saxony-Anhalt, including two 16m³ (test space) salt spray chambers with different performance levels for testing lithium-ion batteries (packs) under varying temperatures in a saline atmosphere.
We develop the ideal solution for each customer's needs, whether the material is GRP or stainless steel.
