The design of the test chamber is put under high demand during a test due to the combination of controlled humidity, sub-zero temperatures, and corrosion. Consequently, several of our corrosion chambers are equipped with a refrigeration circuit.
Weiss Technik has developed several corrosion test systems for FEV Group GmbH in Saxony-Anhalt, including two 16m³ (test space) salt spray chambers with different performance levels for testing lithium-ion batteries (packs) under varying temperatures in a saline atmosphere.
