Construction Mechanic

Designing with metal? As an construction mechanic with a specialty in fine metal construction, this is exactly what you do.

The construction mechanic is in demand when it comes to manufacturing complex parts from sheet metal, tubes, or profiles. He or she has excellent knowledge in metalworking and the processing of all kinds of materials and manufactures parts and metal structures based on technical drawings.

For this purpose, he or she uses various metalworking methods, such as cutting, drilling, or welding, or works with CNC machines.

At Weiss Technik construction mechanics know exactly how to process materials in such a way that they are suited for use in air-conditioning and refrigerating systems. There, they manufacture not only serially produced and tailored parts, but they also make components for environmental simulation plants, which tests are performed to see how entire cars, solar cells, batteries, or navigation devices work in extreme heat or cold.

Your training will mainly focus on metalworking – from drilling and welding to the operation of CNC machines. You will learn how to manufacture complex components based on technical drawings and process them in such a way that they are suited for use in air-conditioning and refrigerating systems.

We offer you the following during training:
