Dual Study Program in Engineering (B.Eng.)

Are you interested in the methodologies of engineering and science, and want to know how to put them into practice? Then a bachelor’s degree in engineering may be a great fit for you.

Concentration: Electrical Engineering

The dual vocational training and degree program in engineering with a concentration in electrical engineering will give you the skills to recognize engineering challenges and problems and solve them using the scientific method. In doing so, you will learn how to apply and optimize electronic technologies.

The general concentration in electrical engineering covers an extensive range of applications, from efficient production, distribution, and use of electrical energy to the storage, processing, and use of information for telecommunications and automation technology. You will learn to use cutting-edge tools such as computer technology, digital networks, micromechanical sensors, and actuators.

Concentration: Mechanical Engineering

The dual vocational training and degree program in engineering with a concentration in mechanical engineering will teach you how to apply engineering methods to solve a variety of issues in mechanical engineering and implement the solutions to plan, develop, and produce technical systems in your respective area of expertise.

The general concentration in mechanical engineering covers the fields of construction and industrial production – in other words, the methods that result in a product. You will learn how to solve complex engineering issues. The course of study also includes component simulations that demonstrate mechanical behavior, and automation technology as an interdisciplinary sub-field of engineering.
